Karina Murphy - The Galactic Enigma

Karina Murphy was born on a small coffee plantation outside of Rochester, N.Y., the daughter of a disgraced Tahitian diplomat (some said spy) and a footloose itinerant farmer from Albion.
Karina has been, alternately, a vagabond and rogue, wandering minstrel and lady of the mid-morning. She’s pursued several careers, including introducing grain products to Renaissance England, giving fashion advice to the Dalai Lama (she suggested orange) and coaching the Bambenga Olympic basketball team. |
| Eventually, epiphany struck and she found her calling: hanging out with cool people and drinking lots of caffeinated products. Armed with only a out-of-tune Stratocaster, three chords and the truth, she came to Cortland and founded The Blue Frog in 2002.
OK, so we made all that up. Except the last part. Karina really is all about hanging out with cool people and drinking coffee. And she’s really flexible when it comes to defining “cool.” |
